Adoption Information

Not all birds are fortunate enough to have a nice home and someone who loves them. One of the important services that The Parrot Club provides is finding new homes for unwanted or orphaned birds. This page will provide information on the current birds that need homes.

If you are interested in adopting any of the birds listed here, please read our adoption rules and fill out the online application or you can download a word version of the application to send in. If you are approved to adopt a bird, you will also need to fill out an Adoption Agreement.

If you have a bird that you would like to put up for adoption, please fill out Acquisition Form and the release.

Adoption Program is in need of volunteers for fostering, all species and sizes, but particularly cockatoos. PLEASE contact Vicki Ekstrom
860-633-1168 for small birds and/or Kathy Lenehan 413-789-1892 for all birds. Without foster homes we can not keep the program going.
